At Gioffredi & Associates, we practice criminal law, family law, and bankruptcy law in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We primarily appear in Dallas County and the surrounding eight counties: Denton, Tarrant, Collin, Johnson, Ellis, Kaufman, Hunt, and Rockwall. The largest part of our practice is in criminal defense, and we have devoted the material on this website to various aspects of our criminal defense practice. However, we can also help you with any family law or bankruptcy issues you may have.
While we can defend almost any criminal case, we have chosen four particular aspects of our practice to highlight. Click on the links below to read specific information about:
At Gioffredi & Associates, we strongly believe that in most cases, except those involving traffic tickets, there is very little to lose by going to trial. In fact, if you are just looking for a lawyer to take you into court for a quick guilty plea, we are probably not the right firm for you. Of course, we will always act in your best interests and you have the final say as to whether or not your case goes to trial. But a very high percentage of the cases we handle do go to trial, often giving better results than we anticipated.
Since we do take so many cases to trial, we have the experience that you want in a trial attorney. We know the judges and the prosecuting attorneys in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and they know our reputation for aggressive criminal defense. We will do everything ethically and legally possible to get the best result possible in your case – from challenging the admissibility of evidence to impeaching the state’s witnesses to establishing a defense strategy to presenting your side of what happened to the jury. When you retain us to handle your criminal case, you know you are going to get the strongest possible defense against the charges.
Traffic tickets are our one exception to this rule. The goal in a traffic ticket case is to keep it off of your record, and that is something that we can do better through a plea agreement. Whether we get the ticket dismissed outright, or whether we work a deal to have you on probation or to take a defensive driving course, we will do everything possible to keep that ticket from appearing on your record.
If you have been criminally charged, contact us to set up an initial consultation. Let our experienced, aggressive, reliable attorneys go to work on your behalf.
